Anticipates Terrorists Attack By Doing Razia

March 18, 2010 - By the arrival of President Barack Obama to Bali, Bali Police started doing raids at a number of critical points which is potentially infiltrated by terrorists.

This morning, a raid conducted in Terminal Ubung, Denpasar. 75 personnel of West Denpasar Police Sector were deployed to comb every passing vans at Tjokroaminoto or right in front of Terminal Ubung. Not only targeting vans, officers continued the examination of prospective passengers in the terminal, especially those who recently arrived from outside Bali.

The leader of West Denpasar Police Sector, Iptu Gede Sumena said that their targets are people, weapons, and identity cards.

After checking one by one, all id-cards and passenger's goods, the officers didn't meet anything suspicious. The police plans to keep doing the razia until the US President arrives in Bali.
