F lounge

No one is certain what the "F" in F Lounge stands for. Perhaps the most obvious explanation is that it is directly adjoining Fabio's Restaurant, a busy and established Italian eatery. But most commonly, F Lounge is synonymous with "fresh" amongst Seminyak's local, ex-pat, and tourist crowds who have been flocking to the venue since summer high season 2005 when it began hosting nightlife events that cater to a unique musical niche and discerning audience.

Capitalizing on the name, the savvy promotion team has reinvented F Lounge as a signature cocktail lounge with its own individual identity based on the tag line, "A Fine Fusion of Flavor, Finesse, and Fun." With feeling instead of fluff, the venue has made an impression with its innovations within the bourgeoning Seminyak nightlife scene as a venue most akin to an authentic underground urban lounge in terms of interior design, drink selection, and distinct musical offerings, all without any pretension.

F Lounge provides ambience that is cozy and intimate in the manner it combines the best in modern design with a slightly retrogressive feel. The entrance to the centrally situated venue on Jl. Raya Seminyak, is a stone patio with a few seats and tables that edge a full wall of windows and glass door. From this terrace, one is able to view the full-length bar, pool table, and couches that surround the ambient-lit room and foyer leading to the lounge area. Once inside the main bar area, the rest of the sunken, elongated rectangular room is visible and inviting. A bank of snug, U-shaped sofa alcoves partitioned with light, translucent muslin scrims take up the left side of the dance floor and provide a perfectly comfortable respite while still being in the middle of the action. Above each sofa niche are F-shape framed pictures that visually represent the F feeling. From Fonzie to The Four Tops to Ella Fitzgerald to Fidel Castro to Bruce Lee's "Fists of Fury," the images are as diverse as the vibe.

Flanking the opposite side of the old-style wooden dance floor is yet another spot to max and relax consisting of plush couches and seats. From these two lounging areas, one has a perfect view of the floor and the thematic visuals courtesy of Divinyl Affairs that are imaginatively projected in Technicolor on the white Greco-Roman columns, creating a swirling montage that breaks up the space nicely. This lounge is easy to reach, it is only a few minute drive from the Annora Villa.
